The electric V-type ball valve evolved from the gate valve. It shares the same 90-degree rotation lifting action, but the difference lies in the valve body: it is a sphere with a circular through-hole or channel along its axis. The ratio of the spherical surface to the channel opening should be such that when the ball rotates 90 degrees, the entire inlet and outlet should be spherical, thus cutting off flow.
The electric V-type ball valve operates by rotating the valve stem to open or close the valve. Electric ball valves are easy to operate, compact, can be made in large diameters, offer reliable sealing, have a simple structure, are easy to maintain, and the sealing surface and spherical surface are constantly in a closed state, making them less susceptible to erosion by the medium. They are widely used in various industries.
